I’ve been teaching for over 14 years and I have to say that every year I am amazed at how much I learn and how many new ideas and techniques and projects I’m able to learn. I’ve been teaching for so long and it’s the same for me. It is hard work, but it is part of my life.
For new teachers, it can be hard to find time to focus and keep up with all the great ideas and techniques and projects. For teachers in service, it is even harder. You only have six weeks of vacation a year, and you have to juggle a ton of student work, and a lot of the work is just sitting around with no direction.
So how do you get back in the game? It’s not like you can just stop teaching or stop teaching your students. You can’t just say, “I’m not going to teach anymore,” because you’re already teaching a ton of kids. You can’t just say, “I’m not going to teach anymore,” because you’re already teaching a ton of kids. So you have to adapt and figure out ways to get your work done in your spare time.
It’s not a matter of not teaching, it’s a matter of not having the time to do it. When you are teaching a class and you know you are going to have a ton of kids in your class, you can’t just sit there and not do anything. And we all know how hard that takes. It takes a ton of time to teach your students and you dont want to just sit there and do nothing for an entire day.
Yes, there are times when it is hard to be a good teacher. But you dont have to be crazy, and as long as you keep your head in the game and you are doing your best, you are not going to get fired for being a dick. But it is hard work and you shouldnt take this too seriously. The best thing you can do is to make sure you are being yourself and not trying to be everyone else.
You can be a jerk at your job, or you can be a jerk at your other job. It is a hard job and you have to be professional and efficient. When you are a teacher, you have to be strict with your students because they are so impressionable. But you also have to be relaxed and carefree because you have to always be in the moment.
Teachers in service days are the people who are always being themselves, which is why they tend to stay at work. Their job requires them to be very efficient. But they also have to be a lot of fun because they have to entertain their students. One of the best parts of the job is when a student gets stuck in the middle of their lesson; you can show them how to do something, but if you don’t laugh with them, they’ll never learn it.
Teachers in service days are in school to learn, not to teach. But they do not have a student’s attention span, nor their creativity. Their students are not as smart as they would like them to be, and they’re not as cool as they’d like them to be, so they can’t teach them. So when they have to teach something they do it with great enthusiasm, and they do it with great enthusiasm because they love what they do.
Teachers in service days dont think theyre great. They dont understand how to use their creativity, and they dont understand how to use their attention spans, and theyre not as cool as theyd like them to be, so they cant teach them. I have to disagree with this statement. Teaching is not just about being a cool professor. It is about a student teaching himself. When you teach a college student, you have to do a lot more than just talk about how stupid they are or what they need to fix at the end of a class. You have to listen, learn, and then teach them how to do it. It is not an easy task.
